Karman Sherwood and Robin suspension lamp

Sherwood and Robin, a suspension lamp that seems to have come straight out of the woods. Acorns and squirrels are the subjects chosen for the luminous sculptures of the designer Matteo Ugolini, carrying on his collection of realistic animals with the Karman company. Choosing ceramic once again, Ugolini designs an acorn-shaped lamp holder, supported by a white cloth suspension cable that exceeds 2 meters. The three versions of Sherwood and Robin differ by the addition of the squirrels or not, one or two, who walk along the wire as if it were a log to reach their acorn. Every detail is meticulously cared for so much that the lamp appears to be incredibly realistic: suitable for indoor environments such as dining rooms on tables, corners of bistros and restaurants, on bedside tables next to the bed and in many different contexts with various designs with, for example, wooden details and soft neutral colors. The direct light of Sherwood will be functional and will embrace indoor areas without too sharp contrasts, guaranteeing an original scenic effect both when chosen individually and when combined with other versions, forming unique compositions.
