Inspired by Vilhelm Lauritzen's famous Radiohus VL 45 pendant lamp, the VL 45 Portable lets you take its iconic light anywhere, indoors or out, creating unique atmospheres with its elegant blown opaline glass. Designed in the 1940s for Radiohuset, the Danish broadcasting company, the VL 45 has become a timeless design symbol. Originally known as ‘the office lamp’, its pure and functional form has made this creation an absolute icon. Historical witnesses, such as photos of the lamp suspended above the Eames chair in the home of Charles and Ray Eames in Los Angeles, confirm its refined presence in even the most prestigious environments. Today, the VL 45 Portable retains its lighting qualities and sophisticated style, adapting gracefully to any space, from modern to classic. A piece of design history that not only illuminates, but also enriches any room with its timeless elegance.
Mounting - USB-C to USB-C cable.
Material - Blown glass, brass and burnished brass with fine lines and genuine leather strap.
Source - Integrated, replaceable, energy-saving LED. Compatible with standard USB adapters (min. 1.5A). Adjustable lighting with continuous dimming and 4 levels (5%, 20%, 45%, 100%). Light output of 270 lm at 100%.
Finish - Glossy pale pink opal glass with white interior. Brushed brass, untreated.
Class - IP44 degree of protection. suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
