Alessandro Mendini products for sale

Alessandro Mendini, who graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1959, was one of the leading innovators of Italian design. Founder of the Alchimia group, he collaborated with such prestigious companies as Alessi, Venini, Cartier, Hermès and Swatch, creating such icons as the Alessandro M corkscrew and the Proust armchair. He has edited architecture magazines such as Domus and Modo, and founded Atelier Mendini in 1989. His work has been awarded the Compasso d'Oro and honored with international awards, such as the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France and the European Prize for Architecture in 2014. His legacy in design is still a landmark today.
